Nursing has always been the biggest single desire of my life. From an early age I knew I wanted to help people, and nursing has provided me the opportunity to spend my life doing just that. Empowering my operating room staff and pursing evidence-based practice is incredibly fulfilling.

I have practiced in operating rooms from Florida to Alaska, and I have learned many things along the way. First, I am never too busy to listen. Also, transparency is key to a healthy work environment. Strong relationships made through communication and teamwork promote patient safety and satisfaction.
